Privacy Policy

• Account: name, email, date of birth, gender, bio.
• Pets: name, species, breed, age, photos, optional health notes.
• Location: device location for nearby discovery. Shown to others only as approximate. Exact location only if you send it in chat or turn on live location (off by default, ends after 45 minutes).
• Usage and device: likes, matches, messages, FCM token, platform, language.

To run discovery, matching, chat, map and events; for safety and moderation; for match/message/reminder notifications; and to meet legal duties.

Pet photos are scanned automatically to confirm an animal is in the frame. This is content fitness, not facial recognition or biometrics.

We do not sell personal data. Processors (hosting, storage, push, error tracking, payments) act on our instructions.

Data stays while the account is active. After deletion, profiles and photos leave public view. Payment records are kept 5 years; moderation records as needed to stop repeat abuse. See the delete-account page.

You may learn whether we process your data, request a copy, correction or deletion, and object. Use in-app Settings or email support@petmatchapp.social.
